River Valley Equine was actually started in 1992 under the name Fromme Veterinary Services. Dr. Kurt Fromme built the practice from scratch and then hired Dr. Jason Burcham in 2006. In January 2008 the two doctors became partners and formed River Valley Equine Services, Inc. The practice moved to its current office location on Limaburg Rd. in Burlington, in the spring of 2009. Our moto at River Valley Equine is "All Equine Breeds, All Equine Needs." We have clients with large training barns or barns that compete at a national level and we have clients with one backyard horse or a pet. We also have barns which only have breeding animals and foals. We try to provide service to all types of horse owners no matter what the use of their horse. We want to be your primary care veterinarians and your first line of defense in keeping your horses in perfect health. If your horse needs a service we can not provide we will gladly refer you to one of the outstanding hospitals nearby to get the care your horse needs.
